Maths Teacher – Teacher
We are currently recruiting for a qualified maths teacher for a mainstream Secondary School in Handsworth. The successful applicant will have prior experiences in the planning and delivery of GCSE Maths to Key Stage 3 and 4. The role is starting in April 2021 intending to continue throughout the summer term.
The School has been commended for recognising and supporting those who are working below the national average when they arrive in Year 7. Ideally, we are seeking a Maths Teacher who has prior experience in supporting intervention plans and catch up with low ability students.
Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply, the successful candidate will receive continued support from both Subject lead and Senior Leaders in the school.
Located near Hampstead Train station the school is accessible for those on public transport with a large onsite carpark for those who drive.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
– Plan and Deliver Maths to students in both Key Stage 3 and 4.
– Ensure delivery and marking is consistently at a good level.
– Promote and deliver good communication skills in written, spoken and ICT Proficiency.
– Build good rapport with colleagues, parents and students to support academic success in the classroom.
– Qualified Teaching Status
– Maths Specialism.
– Right to work in the UK
– Valid DBS (Child Work Force)
– Available Fulltime
