Maths Teacher – Coventry
We are seeking a general Science Teacher with the ability to teach Biology, chemistry, and physics to Students in Key stage 3 and 4. The successful applicant will have prior experiences in the planning and delivery of GCSE Science to Key Stage 3 and 4. The role is starting in May 2021 intending to continue throughout the summer term.
The School excels in bridging the gap in Education. Whilst students who arrive in Year 7 are well below the national average each student receives Good level of support to ensure they reach their full academic potential. Science is the leading specialist of the school with a good history of been an inclusive supportive department.
Whilst the School is a mainstream Secondary School, they also have a resource base for those students with additional needs. Often Students with additional learning needs will have support from Teaching Assistant providing 1:1 support.
Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply, the successful candidate will receive continued support from both Subject lead and Senior Leaders in the school.
Located near Smethwick Galton Bridge Train Station the school is accessible for those on public transport with an onsite carpark for those who drive.

– Ensure delivery and marking is consistently at a good level.
– Promote and deliver good communication skills in written, spoken and ICT Proficiency.
– Build good rapport with colleagues, parents and students to support academic success in the classroom.
