Exciting opportunity for an experienced science teacher to work in a great academy based in Nottingham city. The school in question is apart of a large trust with schools across Nottingham and Derby, with a fantastic reputation and huge cohort across all of their academies. This role is full-time and you will be paid a daily rate between M1 – M6 scale – dependent on your experience.
The school are looking for someone to start in September and continue on a long term basis, with the potential to join the team on a permanent basis if required.
The academy is rated ?Good’ by Ofsted – with key points stating that the pupils are well behaved with a good attitude to learning. As the successful applicant you will have the below:
-UK recognised teaching qualification
-Experience teaching up to KS4, to KS5 would be desirable but not essential
-Able to plan, mark and deliver lessons – with relevant PPA time given
-Able to adapt to different learning styles and provide lessons tailored to specific groups
-Enthusiastic about the local community and the culture of the school
-Experience with all areas of science
